Alex Rodriguez Announces Candidacy for St. Cloud City Council Seat 5
St. Cloud resident Alex Rodriguez has officially announced his candidacy for City Council Seat 5, citing rapid growth, traffic challenges, and the need for greater transparency in local government as his primary motivations.
Alex Rodriguez, a longtime St. Cloud resident, has officially filed to run for City Council Seat 5 in the upcoming election. Rodriguez says he was motivated to run after years of watching the city grow rapidly while infrastructure and transparency lagged behind.
"St. Cloud is one of the fastest-growing cities in Central Florida, and the decisions being made right now will shape this city for decades," Rodriguez said. "Residents deserve to understand what's being decided and have a real voice before those decisions are made."
Rodriguez's campaign focuses on six priority areas: traffic and infrastructure, responsible growth, transparency, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and families and youth.
